- 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ¾ cup creamy peanut butter
- ⅓ cup butter
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Cereal Mix
- 9 cups rice Chex cereal
- 3 cups confectioners sugar
Toppings
- 1 cup holiday M&M’s
Instructions
- Heat Chocolate and Peanut Butter: Add the chocolate chips and peanut butter to a large, microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth and melted.
- Add Butter and Vanilla: Stir in melted butter and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- Coat Cereal: Add the Chex cereal to the bowl and gently toss to coat evenly without breaking the pieces.
- Coat with Sugar: Spoon the coated cereal into a large zip-top bag. Add the confectioners sugar, seal the bag, and gently shake to thoroughly coat the cereal. Use multiple bags if necessary.
- Add M&M’s and Serve: Pour the coated cereal into a bowl, add holiday M&M’s, and serve immediately.
