Scale
Main Ingredients
- 4 cups cubed fresh watermelon
- ⅓ cup fresh lime juice (approximately 3–4 limes)
- 4 sprigs fresh mint
- Soda water
- Extra lime slices for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Watermelon: Cut the watermelon into cubes, discarding the rind and any white parts to ensure a sweet and fresh juice.
- Blend Ingredients: Add the watermelon cubes and fresh lime juice to a blender and blend until smooth. Use a tamper if necessary. If your blender is small, blend the mixture in batches.
- Strain the Juice: Pour the blended mixture through a fine-mesh strainer to remove any pulp, transferring the strained juice to a jug for a smooth texture.
- Assemble the Mocktail: Fill glasses or a large pitcher with crushed ice. Pour the watermelon lime juice until halfway full, then top up with soda water.
- Garnish and Serve: Garnish each glass with a sprig of fresh mint and a lime slice. Serve immediately for the best refreshment.
Notes
- If you don’t have crushed ice, place ice cubes in a zip-lock bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
- Adjust the amount of lime juice to suit your taste preferences—add more for extra tang or reduce slightly for a sweeter mocktail.
