Ingredients
Scale
Slider Components
- 12 Hawaiian rolls
- ¾ pound thin-sliced deli turkey
- ¾ pound thin-sliced Swiss cheese
Butter Topping
- ½ cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
- ½ tablespoon Dijon mustard
- ½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tablespoon everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare Pan: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a 9×13-inch casserole dish with foil and spray the bottom with nonstick spray to prevent sticking.
- Slice Rolls: Without pulling the rolls apart, carefully slice them in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves of the rolls into the prepared casserole dish, fitting them snugly together.
- Layer Turkey and Cheese: Evenly layer the thin-sliced deli turkey over the bottom half of the rolls, then add a layer of thin-sliced Swiss cheese on top of the turkey.
- Add Top Rolls: Place the top halves of the Hawaiian rolls over the cheese layer, covering the fillings completely.
- Prepare Butter Mixture: Melt the unsalted butter either in a microwave-safe bowl in the microwave or in a saucepan on the stovetop. Once melted, stir in the Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and everything bagel seasoning until well combined.
- Brush Tops: Generously brush the butter mixture over the tops of the rolls, ensuring even coverage. Let the assembled sliders sit for 5 minutes to allow the butter to soak in.
- Bake Sliders: Cover the casserole dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes to allow the tops to brown and the cheese to melt fully.
- Serve Warm: Remove the sliders from the oven and serve warm, perfect as an appetizer or main dish.
Notes
- For serving, plan 1-2 sliders per person for an appetizer or 3 sliders per person for a meal.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
- Use Hawaiian rolls for the best soft and slightly sweet flavor that complements the turkey and cheese.
- If you want a different flavor twist, try substituting the Swiss cheese with cheddar or provolone.
- Make sure to brush the butter mixture evenly for maximum flavor and a golden top crust.
